How long has GWD Hosting been in the hosting business?
A little over 3 1/2 year. We started in January of 1999
How many clients do you currently have?
We are getting very close to 1000 happy customers
What server platform(s) do you use for your services?
Linux 7.2
What are you support guarantees?
95% of all support tickets are answered within 1 hour of the time they are sent. Most are within a few minutes during our normal office hours of 6AM-9PM our over night shift is more for server issues but answers tickets as they come in.
What would you say is your company's goals?
Providing quality hosting services for a reasonable price. Our Motto is give them more than they expect.
What separates you from other web hosting companies?
We are not in this business for a quick buck. We have proven ourselves to our loyal customers year after year. We have had some of our very first customers still hosting with us. We stand behind our service and do everything within our power to ensure quality service and 99.99% uptime which we have achived for the past 12+ months. The only down time we have seen in the past year is normal routine maintenance.
Do you offer any kind of money back guarantee?
Sure, we have it in writting that we give a 14 day money back guarentee if you are not happy with the service. We have given people their whole year of hosting for free during an unusual service issue. Sometimes after an upgrade of PHP or Perl there will be a glitch in someones programming. We do whatever it takes including fixing it ourself or hiring someone to do it for the customer at our expense.
At what level do you see your company in the next 2-3 years?
We do not want to have 10,000 customers that we can't provide the excellent service we have been giving for the past 3+ years. We hope to slowly grow and maybe double or triple our customer base. We are more interested in keeping happy customers for the long term then having people come and go.
